GMR Consulting’s Principal, Garnett Wolseley, has been engaged by a well known local hospitality business to re-vamp their Business Development function. The vastly different landscape created by the pandemic has required a re-think of all aspects of the business from Supplier management through to staff development, menu pricing and customer service. A challenging but very enjoyable project awaits.

GMR Consulting has just delivered a project for a large local product manufacturer centred around an on-line marketing campaign. Due to the restrictions imposed over the last year on face to face selling, new delivery methods for marketing were developed and implemented. So far all is going well and with some adjustment here and there, results will continue to improve.

Working with the client’s team to craft a compelling response to the tendering authority’s requirements was both challenging and rewarding. We are delighted to hear the news that this young company has been successful with their bid. They are going from strength to strength.

GMR Consulting has been engaged by a local producer of high quality granite stone and aggregates to move the company to the next level in terms of sales performance. This involves a strategic marketing and awareness campaign with local specifiers and architects. Over the next few months a number of events will be held and new sales collateral developed.

GMR Consulting recently delivered several Contract Management Courses for a multi-national consulting organisation. These courses were just one part of a comprehensive programme for people re-training, and newly qualified graduates. Another round of courses is due soon. Very enjoyable to work with such an eclectic mix of skills sets and ages.

Principal, Garnett Wolseley, recently carried out a mystery shopper exercise for a well known local retailer. A very interesting assignment which highlighted some customer service shortcomings which will be addressed soon via focused Customer Care Workshops.

A topical subject in more ways than one. GMR Consulting has been engaged by a client to oversee the implementation of Health & Safety training across the company. This involves assessing what training is required by department and role, and developing a training plan to deliver the required knowledge. Courses will be conducted on line and ambitious targets have been set for completion.

We are still here and managing to keep our heads above water. It’s been a struggle for everyone but hopefully we can get through this.
