Information Security Compliance for Software House

GMR Consulting has just completed an Information Security Compliance Audit for an international software house. The project spanned several months and covered three geographic locations, assessing risk and recommending countermeasures. GMR’s Garnett Wolseley, a certified CRAMM Practitioner, carried out the audit and presented the report with recommendations to the management board. All organisations should be acutely aware of the need to perform a health check on their information systems to encompass Data Protection Audits, and penetration testing (ethical hacking). They should also aim to develop a Business Continuity Plan to ensure the survival of the enterprise in the event of a disaster.
