A team of GMR Consultants has recently completed a Risk Analysis and Management review for a major IT organisation.  This extensive review embraced the key assets of the organisation including software, data, services, equipment and buildings.  Potential threats to the successful running of the organisation were identified during the project, and following recommendations to the Board of Directors a number of countermeasures are currently being implemented to reduce or eliminate these threats.  In completing the review, GMR Consulting personnel had to work closely with the client’s staff to catalogue and value the assets, evaluate their vulnerabilities, and carry out impact assessments.
