IT solutions provider Northgate has been awarded a 3 year contract to manage Waterways Ireland’s Back Office Systems. Waterways Ireland is the Navigation Authority on the navigable inland waterways, and is located at 12 sites throughout Ireland with its Headquarters in Enniskillen Co Fermanagh. GMR Consulting was engaged by Waterways Ireland to write the Operational Requirement document, provide guidance on EU procurement rules, develop a comprehensive Services Contract & Schedules, and liaise with legal advisors and potential suppliers. Brian Cleland, Head of IT at Waterways Ireland said “Garnett Wolseley of GMR Consulting delivered a highly professional project, working closely with our internal team and supporting us at all stages of the procurement with sound advice, attention to detail, and in depth knowledge of the procurement process.”
